Preserving Mid-Century

Recently we had the opportunity to work with a group we highly respect, and of course we jumped at the offer! Preservation Austin, “… protect(s) the diverse architectural and cultural heritage of the greater Austin community.” This year their efforts were focused around something that is near and dear to our heart, mid-century architecture.  NEST Modern was proud to offer a lecture over mid-century design, focused upon Thayer Coggin and Milo Baughman, as well as sponsor the Austin Homes Tour that will be happening April 5. To learn more about the tour, or buy tickets, please click this link  http://www.preservationaustin.org/events/homes-tour-austin-1964

Here are some highlights from the mid-century design lecture, as well as some sneaks into the homes tour itself.
